YouTourney is a web application that makes running video competitions easy. Videos duke it out in head-to-head matchups to be named the best in their category. YouTourney helps users answer the question “Which video is the best?” by popular vote. It’s that simple. If politicians ran for President on YouTube, YouTourney is how the election would be held. If feature films were distributed on YouTube, YouTourney is how the public would vote for “Best Picture”.

What can I do on YouTourney?
There are different ways to participate on YouTourney, with varying levels of involvement. From least to most involved, you can:
- Vote Anyone can vote! All you need to do is watch two videos, decide which one you like better, and click the “Vote” button. It doesn’t get much easier than that.
- Submit an Entry Submitting a video to a Tournament is easy! Just find a Tournament accepting Entries, copy the link from any shareable YouTube video – enter your own video or nominate one of your favorites! – (in the future, other services will be supported), and paste it into the Entry form. That’s it! A free YouTourney account is required for this – that way we can let you know how your Entry is doing!
- Create a Tournament Creating a Tournament is a cinch on YouTourney. All you have to do is choose your Tournament’s settings – like Tournament Name, Tournament Rules, Entry Deadline, and Round Length – and YouTourney automates the rest! Once you create the Tournament, the only other duty you’ll have is to Accept or Reject Entries, if you’ve set the Tournament up to be Moderated (we’ll send you an email so you’ll know a new Entry has been submitted). You’ll need a free YouTourney account for this as well, of course.
